Giving and receiving often come down to these two simple words: yes and no. We give when we say yes to sharing our time, energy, and presence. And we receive when we say yes to support, rest, and care.
But sometimes, saying yes to others means saying no to ourselves. And sometimes, saying no to others creates the space to say yes to what we truly need.
We see this every day at the studio. We say yes to the challenge of a new move. We say no to the voice that says we’re not enough. We say yes to laughter, sweat, and vulnerability. We say no to the idea that we have to do it alone.
It’s all about finding balance—knowing when to give, when to receive, when to say yes, and when to say no.
This month, I invite you to reflect:
🌿 Where am I saying yes out of love and excitement?
🌿 Where am I saying yes out of habit, fear, or obligation?
🌿 Where do I need to practice saying no, so I can give and receive from a place of fullness and truth?
It’s okay to choose yourself. It’s okay to rest. It’s okay to say no—so that when you say yes, it’s a wholehearted yes.
With love,
XOXO
