You need NEW friends…

Last week we discussed being busy, and I alluded to why making new friends is important…but here’s why. You need to surround yourself with people you want to be. If you start surrounding yourself with people who don’t have any motivation, aren’t working on bettering themselves, complacent, you’ll become them. What’s the saying…something like you’re the average of the 5 people you surround yourself with…something like that. Think about our inner circle right now…are they feeding into your alignment or are they feeding into your confusion? When you feed your mindset with the right fuel, the right people around you…you’ll start to see the shift from confusion to clarity.

Making new friends and surrounding ourselves with people who applaud and cheer us on when we win is important. Don’t let people hold you back, you can choose how they influence you. Maybe their perception is not your reality, don’t allow people into your mindset! People can project what their fears are onto you because they’re comfortable in their own comfort zone, and when they see you doing something different it’s uncomfortable for them so they project onto you…so their perception is not your reality! I saw a saying recently that said “people literally dream at the level of their self-esteem.” So, be careful not to take it personally when you share your dream with someone and they aren’t 100% on board or they speak negatively about it…they just are projecting their fears and limits onto you, so don’t worry about it.

Don’t be so busy that you can’t find opportunities to make new friends. Maybe this will help you take that dance class. Fulfill your wants and desires. It’s OK…you deserve it. Say it with me: I am deserving. Let’s plant the seeds now…for our garden (our body and mind), let them, harvest, and that’s how you can achieve those dreams. Make new friends who can support them. 🙂 Making new friends will help you open your eyes, heart, and ears to new opportunities and perspectives…perhaps even get you out of your comfort zone, teach you new things, and help bring joy into your life. I’m not saying to throw away the old ones…just re-evaluate, make sure they’re in alignment, and still make new friends so that you can continue to flourish. If you have any questions about our classes, our environment, or how to get started, just simply reply and I’ll help you out!

Xoxo,
